Federal Government Grant and Loan Scheme 2023: Empowering Nano Businesses Nationwide in Nigeria


*OLADELE, KEYNOTE SPEAKER FOR ANA OYO DECEMBER LITERARY FEAST AND WRITERS' DIALOGUE*

All is set for the last edition of the monthly literary feast and writers' dialogue of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Oyo State chapter. The event which is to hold December 16 & 17, 2023 will be chaired and opened by Mr. 'Biola Layonu, chairman ANA-OYO.

The venue, African Heritage Library and Research Centre Adeyipo, Ibadan, will be set agog with dazzling literary and artistic activities with the keynote address from Oloye Saheed Oladele, the Baàmẹ̀kọ́ of Ibadanland.

This last edition for the year 2023 is also to celebrate Dr Bayo Adebowale for his conferment as ANA Fellow at the Association's 2023 National Convention held in Abuja recently.

Our host, Dr Bayo Adebowale is a Nigerian novelist, poet, professor, critic, librarian and founder of the African Heritage Library and Cultural Centre, Adeyipo, Ibadan Oyo State. He had published several books; short stories and novels. His debut novel, The Virgin, was adapted into two Nigerian films: The Narrow Path, a 2006 Nigerian film produced and directed by Tunde Kelani, which starred Sola Asedeko, and The White Handkerchief. He authored Lonely Days, a book that focus on African culture.

On his part, Oloye Saheed Oladele, the Baàmẹ̀kọ́ of Ibadanland was a University of Ibadan scholar. He is the Chairman, Erudite Group. Erudite Group is reputed as the nation's first international complete language company with international services. 

We are going to have an engaging keynote address session reflecting on 'Culture and Literature: The Connections' to be delivered my Oloye Saheed Oladele. Mrs. Clementina Kezie-Osuagwu will handle a deep literary conversation with the host, Dr Bayo Adebowale. The panel discussants: Mr. Jide Ogunlana, Mr. Abdulsalam El-mubashir and Ms Tiwatope Oluwaseyi will through a session moderated by Mr. Ebika Anthony dive into 'Book Publishing, Reading Culture and Writers Challenges in Nigeria's Economy'. 

This last edition promises to be fun-filled. It will be a literary feast not to be forgotten for a long time to come.
