Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf Condoles with V.P Shettima over Stepmother's Death

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf,of Kano State has condoled with families of Nigeria's Vice President,Alhaji Kashim Shettima over the death of his Stepmother, Hajia Hauwa Abba Kormi.

Governor Abba Yusuf Who arrived Maiduguri in the early hours of Saturday 3rd February, 2024 and visited the family House of Vice President Kashim Shettima with his entourages.
The Governor condoled with the family of the deceased, the people and Government of Borno State, Governor Abba Kabir prayed to Almighty Allah to dwell her gentle soul in Jannatul Firdausy.
"Your Excellency, we are here on behalf of the government and good people of Kano to share our most sincere condolences to you and the extended family on the death of our beloved mother."
"may Almighty Allah, the most exalted grant her gentle soul eternal rest, give you the courage and the fortitude to bear her loss, and Jannatul Firdausi be her final abode." The Governor stated.

Kano State Chapter of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) under the leadership of Dr.Hashim Suleiman Dungurawa has condemned the brutal attack on innocent voters in Kunchi/Tsanyawa State Assembly constituency.
Dungurawa said the sporadic attacks on the unsuspecting voters with the aim to disenfranchise them from exercising their civic rights.
"Since last night, we sighted the deployment of thousands of thugs hired by the APC to distract the election process" said Dr. Hashimu Dungurawa
The NNPP also appreciated the efforts of security forces for protecting the lives of people in the affected areas.
